Whether in a relationship, or looking for a relationship – you begin to notice the same challenging patterns emerging. Feeling stuck, scared or bored, why is this happening?
The desire to really connect with another human being is universal – yet can prove deeply challenging for many of us. Complex dynamics are at play when we attempt to become close to another and we often respond in our relationships with unhelpful learned behaviours.
For many people, relationships may evoke intricate confusion, ambivalence and feelings of loss, anger, sadness, insecurity or anxiety.
This workshop facilitated by David Staunton, will support you in understanding that there is a place for everyone and everything in nature. Ecotherapy teaches us of the interconnectedness of all things and all beings. This can support people significantly in as we learn how to further connect and ‘belong to’. Above all it supports us as we choose healthier attachments in our relationships.

The original Ecotherapy Hedge School is situated in the secluded and beautiful hills of southwest county Dublin but most workshops are facilitated in the great expanse of the Phoenix Park.
Check the weather and dress accordingly – ‘it’s not a fashion show’ so wear layers of whatever you feel comfortable in. The Hedge School is situated to enjoy the sun so you may need sun cream, cap, or sunglasses. Whilst there is some shelter available, we are open to the elements as we are outdoors so wear comfortable walking footwear in the knowledge that we may be walking in some mud if it has been wet and through long grass etc. Bring a light lunch/snack and plenty of water for your picnic break. If you like to journal, make diary entries, take notes or sketch, feel free to bring along your writing or creative material. Most important of all – bring yourself as you are.
